The GRETA Project Freedom Sticker is our version of the “Freedom Stickers” (InOurBackyard.org) seen across the U.S. — small but powerful tools designed to reach victims of human trafficking in places where help can be found quietly.
Our Freedom Stickers will be placed on discreet public surfaces such as restroom stalls and doors in:
Fuel stations
RV parks
Truck stops
Convenience stores
Campgrounds and travel centers
Each sticker includes tear-off tabs printed with the National Human Trafficking Hotline —
📞 888-3737-888 or text HELP to 233733 (BeFree).
These tabs can be pulled off and hidden, kept for later use, handed to a trusted person, or left in safe public spaces where they might reach another victim.
At the bottom of every pull-off tab is Greta’s friendly face — our project’s namesake and mascot.
If a trafficker sees the tab, they’re likely to think the number is related to a dog rescue or animal hotline, helping victims keep it undetected and safe until they can reach out.
Because trafficking affects people of many backgrounds, our message —
“There’s a way out: Call the Human Trafficking Hotline.”
is written in five languages most commonly associated with trafficking victims in the U.S.:
🇺🇸 English
🇲🇽 Spanish
🇻🇳 Vietnamese
🇨🇳 Chinese
🇵🇭 Tagalog
Every sticker is placed intentionally — in restrooms and behind doors — where a victim might have a rare moment alone.
Our goal is simple:
To create small, hidden moments of hope that can lead to freedom.
